]]><![CDATA[Bittersweet Moments]]>Wed, 04 May 2022 04:37:52 GMThttp://www.ralatphotography.com/blog/bittersweet-moments It's such a bittersweet thing to watch your children grow.  It's like you want to keep them small forever, but you also can't wait to see how far they will succeed in life. 
I've had the pleasure of watching this beautiful soul blossom from a sweet little girl into an intelligent young lady.  You could only imagine the excitement I felt when her mom contacted me for Sweet 16 photos! Ahhhhhh - my heart filled with joy.
It's not every day you get to work with those you love, and I cherish every moment of it.  

The day was filled with so many emotions, from tear jerking speeches, to laughter and dancing on clouds.  You could definitely feel the love each guest had for this little beauty. And what better way to end the night, than a fun stroll in NYC with your best friends? 

Jei, I wish you nothing but the absolute best. May God bless you and guide you every day of your life!

As we approach the end of 2021, I find myself thinking about all that has happened this year.  It has definitely been one for the books.  Dealing with health issues, the death of a few loved ones, facing new challenges as a result of a virus outbreak, changing our schedules to fit the new norms of everyday life, cancelling and rescheduling events, not sure of when the next opportunity may come... the list goes on.  But one thing is for sure, I thank God for it all.  This year has taught me that I am stronger than what I thought I was. I have been able to network with some great people, worked with some of the most amazing families, reunited with old friends, and realized it's ok to take time off to work on myself. 

You see, I am thankful for the good and bad.  God has been more than faithful in my life, and I can not sit here and say it's been an awful year.  This has been a great eye opener,  So, I look forward to 2022, with an open mind, ready to take whatever 2022 has for me.  See you all soon! Take care of yourselves, and stay safe.

Hello love bugs!

I'm so sorry i've been M.I.A. lately. This year has been such a weird, all over the place, yet enlightening year for all of us. We've lost a few loved ones along the way, and as hard as that has been we had to understand it was their time, and they are in a better place now. Easier said than done, right? I know :( . 

On a lighter note, I am so appreciative of all of the support I've received from all of you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for making my 2020 a bit sweeter, and I pray we all have an easier 2021.
