Maternity Sessions:
Oh sweet baby... how lovely it is to feel your kicks & know we will be meeting soon.
I wrote in a post recently about how beautiful maternity sessions can be. To see a woman's body changing into a home for a small human being is just a miracle. God has created woman to be able to nurture another human while living inside of their womb.
Isn't that just amazing?
To think, for 9 (really 10) months, what started as a small little seed has blossomed into a small baby. 10 little fingers, and 10 little toes have formed, and they are now shifting into position, ready to come meet their new family. Ahh, sweet joy.
I love meeting my beautiful mommy & daddies to be, and even the new Big Brother/Sister.
The amount of joy they share, and the excitement as we speak about their new addition to the family brings me so much happiness.
I want to make sure that happiness reflects in ALL OF YOUR PHOTOS. I will make sure to catch the way daddy looks at you when you pose for your photo. Or that moment you're both hugging, and realizing what is about to happen. Yup, I caught that.
I like the little things. I like candid moments.
Yes, I'll guide you every step of the way, but I also want to catch that genuine laugh, or that genuine tear because this is something you've been waiting for a long time. That's me.... I like sweet honest moments.
Because even though you may not have seen it, I did. And I want to show you how beautiful it was.

Newborn Sessions:
Hello sweet baby...we finally meet.
I often get questioned if I take newborn photos.
The answer is yes, I love all photography and I'm always willing to learn new things just for you.
Newborn photography is definitely a challenge since these
sweet little models have their own agenda for the day.
They choose when they want to eat, sleep, or potty. :) But none of these things have ever stopped me from taking their photos. I will patiently wait for your baby to have their lunch, or dinner. I will rock them until they feel they can calmly go back to sleep. I will even sing if I have to. (no worries, I have been practicing for this moment.) I have a few props that I can bring, however any props you may have are more than welcomed.
